Behind The Scenes: Basilica Block Party

Join MNFEA members for an exclusive look Behind The Scenes at another marquee Twin Cities event: The Basilica Block Party.

The Basilica Block Party began in 1995 as a fundraiser to help pay for the structural restoration of The Basilica of Saint Mary. Today, proceeds from the concerts benefit The Basilica Landmark, which preserves, restores, and advances the historic Basilica of Saint Mary for all generations. In addition, a portion of all proceeds from The Basilica Block Party go to The Basilica’s St. Vincent de Paul outreach program, which provides services to those in need. #Praise The Loud

Our tour will be hosted by Meghan Gustafson: the award-winning wizard behind the curtain of the Block Party, leading a team of volunteers and staff for this weekend-long concert series and fundraiser. We'll see how they set-up the VIP Experience for fans at this outdoor venue plus learn about the challenges of producing an event in the public eye.

If you can't make the tour, you're still welcome to join us afterwards for drinks and networking at Café & Bar Lurcat, 1624 Harmon Place, Minneapolis, MN 55403 (just across Hennepin from the Basilica). Cash bar is open to all.
