Event Description
Akin to a Renaissance festival, ours is set in the Viking Age - meant to celebrate the connection to Minnesota by way of Scandinavian heritage. Our focus is education; There is a lot of misinformation and romanticized notions about this era and we'd like to help clear some of those up and bring the reality of life in that age to the forefront. Alongside modern and interactive exhibits and entertainment, we hope to showcase living history encampments and reenactors, period accurate combat demonstrations, clothing, cooking, etc. Our hope is to introduce this captivating period of history to a wider audience.
