Join us for another MNFEA Coffee Break and tasty networking session!

Our speaker will be Rina Rossi, Program Officer with the Minnesota State Arts Board - a state agency that stimulates and encourages the creation, performance and appreciation of the arts in our state.

Rina will go over deadlines, grant amounts, who can apply, what funds may be used for, how to file an application, and some examples of past projects funded in the program. She will also review next steps for anyone who is interested in submitting an application in for the current cycle.

Rina Rossi is the program officer for the Minnesota Festival Support, Folk and Traditional Arts, and Arts Tour grant programs with the Minnesota State Arts Board. Prior this this, besides performing at festivals of all sizes across the state as an old-time musician, square dance caller, and Appalachian clogger, Rina also served several years on the planning committee of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association August Festival and a small old-time music and dance festival called Moosejaw that occurs each March in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

Attendees at this Coffee Break will also include current and alumni students of the University of Minnesota's Festival & Event Management course. Network with them and learn about this great course that provides education for event organizers, volunteers and staff.

Don’t miss this opportunity to make unique connections. Attendance to this networking event is complimentary.
